Sam and Norah explore a derelict building with a history of scary rumours and urban legends. When they enter a room filled with discarded items that backs the stories theyve heard, Norah gets frightened whilst Sam finds it amazing. One of these many items is an old board game that was used to contact spirits. Despite Norahs reluctance to play, Sam convinces her and the two attempt to use the board. Whilst Sam isnt able to contact any spirits, he does realise that something very peculiar happens when he uses the board. Norah freezes in place. She doesnt even seem to realise this is happening to her either. With the power to pause Norah in time, a devious idea enters Sams mind
